Starring Diljit Dosanjh, Naseeruddin Shah, Vedang Raina and Sharvari in the lead roles, the cross-border love story has been directed by Imtiaz Ali. According to Sacnilk’s early estimates, Main Vaapas Aaunga collected Rs 2.50 crore on day 11. Surprisingly, the second Monday turned out to be a bigger one than the first. On the first Monday, the Diljit Dosanjh starrer had collected Rs 1.15 crore at the box office. Owing to the strong word of mouth, Main Vaapas Aaunga started doing wonders in the second week. Interestingly, the film collected Rs 12 crore in the second weekend. As expected, the numbers dropped on the second Monday but not as badly as the first one.

Main Vaapas Aaunga’s reels are going viral on social media and the netizens have started developing interest in watching the emotional love story of Keenu and Jiya on the big screen. Main Vaapas Aaunga is being praised for its music, storyline, direction and performances by the lead actors. In the 11 days, Main Vaapas Aaunga collected Rs 26.75 crore. The total worldwide gross collection of the film is Rs 44.07 crore. For the unversed, Main Vaapas Aaunga was released along with three other films, like Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata, Governor – The Silent Saviour and Haunted 3D – Echoes Of The Past. Unlike the rest of the films, Main Vaapas Aaunga witnessed good growth in its collections.
