Reacting to this, Samay wrote on his Instagram Story, "Woke up to so many amazing messages from friends saying they watched the entire episode with their family and loved it. LOL that's a new one for me. Let's see how long before this too shall pass."

He also asked his followers whether they prefer watching the show alone or with their parents. In another story, the comedian joked about a non-vegetarian person eating vegetarian food, subtly hinting at the shift away from double-meaning and sexual jokes.

Recently, Samay expressed his gratitude to Alpha stars Alia Bhatt and Sharvari for Episode 1 and booked an entire theatre in Mumbai. Amid mixed reviews for the film, Samay has publicly backed Alpha, and his sweet gesture is grabbing major attention online.In an Instagram post, Samay announced that he would be watching Alpha in Mumbai and had reserved an entire theatre for the screening. He also shared that he would be giving away 250 tickets via WhatsApp to fans who were registered on his pre-sale list. He wrote, "It’s just a small gesture from me to show love to Alia and Sharvari for being soooo cool that they came on my show’s first episode.
