Kapoor’s fairytale love story with Rohan Thakkar has progressed into its next chapter. The celebrity couple got married in a grand yet close-knit ceremony in Mumbai on Monday. Amid torrential rains in the city, the Kapoors and Thakkars celebrated the union, which seemingly received the rain god’s blessings too. Taj Lands End was decorated for Anshula and Rohan’s big day, and the aesthetics resonated with their modern Indian taste. Pictures and videos from the wedding went viral on social media. In one of the inside videos, Anshula’s brother Arjun Kapoor was seen fulfilling his bade bhaiya duties.

In the video, Arjun could be seen signing Anshula and Rohan’s marriage registration document. While the couple stood behind, two other family members served as the other witnesses signing the document. Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor couldn’t stop admiring the newlyweds as they stood by their sister, Anshula.

In an interview with IWMBuzz, Boney confirmed Anshula’s wedding date and said, “The marriage will be a blend of two communities and will be completed in one day.”

When the couple was ready to pursue the relationship seriously, the Dhadak actress became the go-to person. According to Anshula, Janhvi was the best person to disclose the news to. When Anshula’s pre-wedding festivities kicked off, Janhvi and her younger sister Khushi decided to throw her a surprise mehendi ceremony and made it the best day for her. The Kapoor sisters participated in the bride’s kaleera ritual as well. Anshula is the daughter of Boney and his former wife, the late Mona Shourie. She is Arjun Kapoor’s younger sister. Janhvi and Khushi are her half-sisters. Kapoor participated in the first season of The Traitors with her aunt, Maheep Kapoor.
