Pankaj Kapur recently recalled that King Khan used to serve samosas to the students of the National School Of Drama when he was 10 years old.

The veteran actor, who is himself a celebrated NSD alumnus, recently recalled spotting a young Shah Rukh Khan supplying samosas to drama students at the campus. Pankaj fondly described him as a 'little boy' who was always around."Those samosas were supplied by no other than Shah Rukh Khan. He was a little boy, 10 years old at that time. I think his uncle or father used to run the canteen at that time," Pankaj shared at Kindle Cast’s YouTube channel.Years later, SRK and Pankaj worked together in the 1995 film Ram Jaane.

Shah Rukh Khan's childhood was centred around the National School of Drama. This meant that from a very young age, SRK was surrounded by some of India's most gifted theatre practitioners. "I was a very cute child and my entire childhood was spent there in the laps and roaming around with arguably India’s finest actors," SRK had said in an earlier interview.While SRK did not attend the NSD himself, he enrolled at the Theatre Action Group in Delhi, where he studied acting under the mentorship of theatre director Barry John.
