Salman Khan Offers Home-Cooked Meal To Sonam Wangchuk, Urges Him To End Hunger Strike

voicing his support for students protesting nationwide against paper leaks, Salman Khan has now urged Sonam Wangchuk to end his hunger strike. The Ladakhi activist started his indefinite hunger strike on June 28. He began the fast at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi to support the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) in demanding the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over alleged examination irregularities and NEET paper leaks.

Salman Khan Appeals To Sonam Wangchuk

On July 23, Salman Khan took to social media to share another post related to the ongoing protest. He first requested the students to end their protests and go home to their parents, citing that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has acknowledged the demands and will ensure 'strict action' against those responsible.The Maatrubhumi star wrote, "The students are at top priority, educationally n security-wise, so they need not worry and have their parents worried for them. The Honorable Prime Minister has tweeted, and I am sure that he will take strict action against all those people who are responsible for this leak. So students, plz go back to your parents n homes."He further made a heartfelt appeal to Sonam Wangchuk to end his indefinite hunger strike, offering him home-cooked meals if he wants. "Sonam, it’s done, bro. Don’t extend this. Keep the spirit for another day if there be a need, which I doubt, n eat something. If u want, will send u food from home," wrote Salman.
