He also lauded lead stars Ranbir Kapoor, Yash, and Sai Pallavi, describing their screen presence as stunning, lethal, and ethereal, respectively. Atlee's enthusiastic endorsement comes shortly after the trailer's launch at the Pratham Sankalp event in New Delhi, adding to the growing buzz surrounding one of Indian cinema's most anticipated films.

Filmmaker Atlee couldn't hide his excitement after watching the Ramayana trailer, calling it a breathtaking cinematic experience. He praised producer Namit Malhotra's vision and director Nitesh Tiwari's exceptional craftsmanship, while applauding Yash's "unbelievably lethal" screen presence, Ranbir Kapoor's stunning performance, and Sai Pallavi's ethereal charm. Describing every frame as "grand, fresh, and magical," Atlee wished the entire team blockbuster success, adding that the film looks "truly epic."

Reacting to Atlee's message, director Nitesh Tiwari replied, "Thanks brother."

Ranbir Kapoor, Yash, Sai Pallavi, Sunny Deol, Rakul Preet Singh, Vivek Oberoi, Arun Govil, Ravi Dubey, Kunal Kapoor, and Shobhana were among those in attendance.The makers also confirmed that the Ramayana trailer will make its international debut at Comic-Con San Diego 2026 before being released online globally on July 24. Helmed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra, the mythological epic features Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita, and Yash as Ravana.

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Ramayana is a two-part mythological epic inspired by the ancient Sanskrit scripture that narrates the enduring victory of dharma over adharma. The first installment is expected to trace Lord Rama's formative years, his marriage to Sita, and his exile to the forest. The second part will likely follow Sita's abduction by Ravana, the construction of the Ram Setu, and the climactic war in Lanka. Designed as a grand cinematic spectacle, the film aims to balance the scale of mythology with the emotional depth of its iconic characters.

Ramayana features an ensemble cast led by Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, who also portrays Lord Parshuram, alongside Sai Pallavi as Sita and Yash as Ravana, with the latter also serving as a producer.
