Rukh has lived in more than one home in Delhi over the years. He grew up in a modest rented house in Rajinder Nagar, and moved to Gautam Nagar at age 15 after his father's death. He later shifted to the Panchsheel Park home after marrying Gauri Khan. And now, King Khan has reportedly bought the second and third floors of the Panchsheel Park building, securing full ownership of a property that holds emotional value for the family.
Shah Rukh Khan Buys Family Home In Delhi
Shah Rukh Khan has bought the remaining two floors of a residential building in South Delhi's posh Panchsheel Park area for around Rs 37 crore, according to a Bollywood Hungama report. This building is special because it is where SRK and Gauri Khan reportedly lived before he moved to Mumbai for his acting career. The basement and ground floor of the house were already owned by the family. With this new purchase, the Khan family now owns the entire building, spread across a large 1,200-square-yard plot in one of Delhi's most premium neighbourhoods.
Interestingly, the same two floors were earlier bought by son Aryan Khan in 2024, and the ownership has now been consolidated within the family. Experts say such high-value celebrity property deals are rare in Delhi, making this one of the city's biggest recent transactions.
Shah Rukh Khan's Other Properties
This isn't SRK's only Delhi connection. He owns a massive 27,000 sq-ft heritage villa in the same Panchsheel Park area, bought way back in 2001 for around Rs 13 crore. Today, that property is estimated to be worth close to Rs 200 crore.Beyond Delhi, Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri own famous properties like Mannat in Mumbai, along with luxury homes in Dubai and other locations. Gauri, a well-known interior designer, has personally designed many of these homes.
