In a recent episode, Dheeraj Dhoopar's wife Vinny entered the Lock Upp house. During a conversation with Shilpa Shinde and Akanksha, Shreya said that she wished her boyfriend could also come to meet her. "Tumhara bhi aa gaya, iska bhi aa gaya. Mereko bhi mera boyfriend chahiye thodi der ke liye (Yours has also come, and theirs has also come. I also want my boyfriend to come for a while)," she told Chamola. The actress instantly replied, "Mere to ex tha. Has to raha hai Varun (Laila), bol raha hai 'Tera family kaha aaya. Tera to stranger aaya' (I had my ex. Varun (Laila) was laughing and saying, ‘Where did your family come? A stranger came for you)." She added, "Usse (Gaurav) jyada mujhe family mein se koi aata to better tha." Explaining why, she said that she wanted someone to comfort her. "I would have preferred agar meri mummy ya papa koi aate, ya mera kutta hi aa jata (I would have preferred if my mother or father had come, or even if my dog had come)," said Akanksha, leaving the others in splits.
