Shilpa Shinde revealed that she lives in a shelter home whenever she visits Mumbai. What used to be her second home in Karjat is now her first, as she has almost left the city.

According to Shilpa Shinde, her brother was influenced by his wife and her mother was influenced by her brother after she had shoulder surgery three years ago. After five days of the treatment, she was forced to leave her own house. Her family knew she valued her self-respect, so Shilpa left the house at 11 PM that night. The actress’s mother did not stop her due to the influence.

Shilpa Upon Being Called Toxic

Shilpa simply dismisses comments calling her “Toxic” because, after the circumstances that occurred, she has become detached from any kind of relationship. She described this as her truth and also recalled how people often question her checking into hotels, where she lies about her whereabouts, saying she needed privacy from home.

Shilpa Shinde also misses her family and talks to her mother on the phone, as she tries to avoid visiting Karjat. Comparing her situation to that of Harshad, she said it feels like she has become a “doormat” for her family, as people take advantage of her constant availability.
