Ali’s films have a separate fanbase, but what his latest directorial, Main Vaapas Aaunga, has managed to do is rare. Just when industry insiders and trade experts felt that the romantic drama - starring Diljit Dosanjh, Naseeruddin Shah, Sharvari, and Vedang Raina - was struggling to find love from the audience, it witnessed a jump at the box office and surprised everyone. In a rare trend, the film registered its highest collections on the second weekend after a slow start. The growing demand has even prompted theatres to increase shows across the country. Amid all the love and much-deserved success, the movie has received a special shoutout from filmmaker Siddharth Anand.
