Lock Upp 2: Gaurav Khanna Says 'Band Baja Diya Tune' As He Meets Akanksha Chamola Amid Separation

Chamola revealed the biggest secrets of her life on Lock Upp 2. In the premiere episode of the Netflix reality show, the actress admitted that she and Gaurav Khanna are getting a divorce. Although they've been separated for a year, the actors are on good terms with each other. Days after Akanksha's revelation, Gaurav has now entered the Riteish Deshmukh and Farah Khan-hosted show as a visitor. A new promo of Lock Upp 2 features the actor reuniting with his estranged partner. Their meeting turns emotional after he tells her 'band baja diya tune'.

The new Lock Upp 2 promo features host Farah announces that the visiting hours are open and the first visitor is about to enter the jail. This is followed by glimpses of Gaurav with his voiceover: "Ek samundar hai jo kaabu mein hai mere, ek katra hai jo mujhse sambhala nahi jata. Ek umar bitani hai uske bager, aur ek lamha hai jo mujhe guzaara nahi jaata."

Next, the former Bigg Boss 19 contestant is seen entering the jail, while Akanksha says 'koi toh aaya hai'. And as soon as Gaurav walks up to Akanksha's cell, the actress' face beams with joy. The very next moment he tells her 'band baja diya tune', and smiles. Hearing this, the actress breaks down in tears. For those unaware, Akanksha and Gaurav have mutually decided to end their nine years of marriage. While the actress confirmed their separation on this show, no details about their divorce proceedings have been disclosed yet. In an earlier episode, the reality show contestant had explained the reason behind their divorce.

Akanksha said she didn't have 'maternal instinct' while she was married to the Bigg Boss 19 winner. The actress was open to discovering it; however, she eventually realised that she wasn't meant for it. And while Gaurav was initially okay with her decision not to have kids, the actor now wants to have children. "I can't give him that," she revealed. The actress further recalled having a discussion with Gaurav where she told him that he can leave her if he wants.

Meanwhile, Lock Upp 2 commenced on June 27 with a set of 15 contestants. After Shresta Iyer's eviction, actress Shilpa Shinde joined the show as first wildcard contestant. It streams from Saturday to Thursday at 8pm.
