Alpha
is gearing up for its theatrical release and needless to say, fan theories surrounding the YRF Spy Universe film have reached an all-time high. Starring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari in the lead, the action thriller has already generated significant excitement through its trailer. However, one aspect that is still a huge mystery is Sharvari's character. While Alia Bhatt's character Sita has already been introduced, the makers have carefully kept details about Sharvari's role under wraps. This secrecy has now fuelled numerous theories online, with many fans believing that Sharvari could actually be playing Ruhi, the adopted daughter of Hrithik Roshan's Kabir from War.
Is Sharvari Connected To Kabir's Storyline?
Ever since the trailer of
Alpha was released, social media has been flooded with theories about the identity of Sharvari's character. One section of fans believes that Alia Bhatt's Sita may be connected to Bobby Deol's character, while another popular theory suggests that Sharvari could be portraying Ruhi, a character already introduced in the YRF Spy Universe.Ruhi, for those unfamiliar, is Naina's daughter whom Kabir takes under his protection. Over time, Kabir becomes her guardian and mentor, making her an important emotional connection in his life. Since the makers have not revealed Sharvari's character name, many fans believe the secrecy itself could be an indication that her role has larger implications for the expanding spy universe.
Several viewers have pointed out that Sharvari's character appears to be living abroad in the beginning of the trailer. Interestingly, Ruhi was also kept away from danger and raised overseas (Spain) as Kabir attempted to protect her from various threats. This similarity has further strengthened fan theories. The guarantee of Hrithik Roshan's Kabir appearing in the film has only added fuel to the already burning fire.
Sharvari Hints At An 'Alpha' Surprise
While Sharvari stopped short of confirming any theories, she recently made comments that prove their is something unique about her role. The actress stated in a press meet that there is a reason why her character has been kept under wraps. She added that revealing too much at this stage would spoil the surprise for audiences. At the same time, Sharvari assured fans that her role is entertaining and would offer plenty of fun.
If the Ruhi theory turns out to be true, it would create a direct emotional link between
War and
Alpha, potentially setting up future installments. However, the makers have so far remained silent regarding the speculation.Meanwhile, anticipation for
Alpha continues to grow. The film stars Alia Bhatt, Sharvari, Bobby Deol, and Anil Kapoor in key roles and is the first female-led installment in the YRF Spy Universe. Recent reports in Bollywood Hungama also suggest that Yash Raj Films has implemented a carefully planned release strategy. The studio has reportedly requested theatres to begin screenings only
after 9:30 am and maintain ticket prices similar to
Welcome To The Jungle.
