Shinde, who has been in the news amid the controversy over her alleged fake sexual harassment claims against the Bhabhi Ghar Par Hai producer, has reacted to reports of Shehzada Dhami not receiving unpaid dues of around Rs 30 lakh. Reportedly, no action was taken despite his complaint, and the concerned producer continued working freely. Shinde had a strong reaction to this. She said that artists were unable to act freely as their 90-day payments remained stuck with producers. She added that those associated with industry bodies often ended up siding with producers. The Bigg Boss 11 winner also shared her own experiences.

In a video shared on Instagram, Shinde slammed the unfair practices in the industry. "Yeh jo TV industry ke producers hai, yeh mafia giri karte hai." She said that there was a "white collar mafia" and alleged that even producers who do not cooperate are threatened. They are allegedly told that if anything happens to them in the future, no one will support them and their work or shows will be stopped.She also took a jibe at those who mourn the deaths of artists without having supported them earlier. "Artists ka saath kaun dega? Aap kisi ke marne ke baad Instagram par aakar ro rahe ho. Aap log wohi ho jo candle leke, marne ke baad, aate ho aur footage khate ho be-matlabb," remarked the actress.

An angry Shilpa further claimed that no one supported her during the row and questioned whether anyone else had the courage to speak the truth the way she did. "Maine paiso ke liye nahi kiya," she said and also responded sharply to her critics. She said that there was no other way and that it could even push her to take extreme steps like suicide.While maintaining that she stood by her version of the truth, she said that she knew exactly why she had chosen to speak publicly. "Mujhe nahi kaam karna hai aap logo ke sath, chhaiye bhi nahi mujhe roles. Ghatiya kaam karte ho aap log. Aaj kal creativity bachi hi nahi hai, sab bakwaas shows karte ho aap log," declared the actress. "Is tarah ke ghatiya artists hai is industry mein, aap isme kaam karna chahte ho? Mujhe karna hi nahi hai. Raaste mein sabzi bechungi par aise logo ki nahi chatungi main," added Shinde.

She also took a dig at the artists’ bodies, alleging that they often support producers instead of performers. She urged such organisations to stand with artists rather than only mourning them after their death, pointing out that many artists have already spoken about facing issues with unpaid dues.
