Akanksha Chamola on falling in love after separation from Gaurav Khanna

In Lock Upp 2's second episode, Akanksha clarified that she doesn't want to fall in love soon. The actress wants to take her time. "I got married really young, at 24. Maine literally utna kuch explore or enjoy kiya nahi hai. (I have not explored and enjoyed life so much)," she said.

The actress further stated that after 10 years of being in a relation, she feels she has free to explore. And that's the reason, the reality show contestant doesn't' want to get into anything else. During the premiere episode, Akanksha's confession left hosts Riteish Deshmukh and Farah Khan surprised. The actress revealed that it was her and Gaurav's mutual decision to end their marriage."We have been sitting on it for the last year. Things are not bad between Gaurav and me. We still talk to each other. We both don’t think that we are compatible as partners because we both see a very different future, and unfortunately, it’s not with each other," she added. While the actress announced their divorce publically, Gaurav hasn't commented on it yet.

Meanwhile, Gaurav and Akanksha got married in 2016 after reportedly dating for a while. The actors apparently met and fell in love during audition. Later, the duo exchanged wedding vows in the presence of their loved ones on November 24, 2016. Their wedding celebration was a three-day affair in Kanpur.On the work front, Gaurav has done reality shows like Bigg Boss 19 and Celebrity MasterChef. He will next be seen in Rohit Shetty's Khatron Ke Khiladi 15, premiering on July 25. As for Akanksha, she previously did shows like Santoshi Maa, Yeh Hai Aashiqui and Crime Patrol.
