Brothers Chiranjeevi And Naga Babu Help Telugu Villain Ramesh After Severe Brain Stroke

actor Ramesh suffered a severe brain stroke and was admitted to Apollo Hospital. Best known for his memorable performance in Pawan Kalyan's 2012 blockbuster Gabbar Singh, Ramesh is under medical supervision as doctors monitor his condition. After learning about the actor's health crisis, Megastar Chiranjeevi and his brother, actor-producer Naga Babu, stepped forward to provide financial assistance to Ramesh's family. Their gesture has been widely appreciated, with fellow filmmaker Harish Shankar also extending support during the actor's ongoing treatment.

Chiranjeenvi helps actor Ramesh

Veteran actor Chiranjeevi has extended financial assistance to actor Ramesh, who is currently undergoing treatment after suffering a severe brain stroke. According to TV9 Telugu, Chiranjeevi has been in regular contact with Dr. Subba Reddy at Apollo Hospital to stay updated on Ramesh's medical condition. The actor sweetly handed over a cheque worth Rs 3 lakh to Ramesh's family to help with the mounting treatment expenses.

Apart from the financial contribution, Chiranjeevi also assured the family that he would extend all possible support in helping them access benefits under the state government's medical health insurance scheme. Chiranjeevi's brother, actor and producer Naga Babu, also came forward to support the family by contributing Rs 2 lakh. Together, the family has donated a total of Rs 5 lakh towards Ramesh's treatment. Chiranjeevi also conveyed his wishes for Ramesh's speedy recovery and expressed hope that the actor would soon regain his health and return to normal life.

Telugu actors arrive at the hospital

Film journalist Vamsi Shekar shared a photograph of Chiranjeevi and Naga Babu presenting the financial assistance to Ramesh's family. Alongside the image, he wrote, "Megastar @KChiruTweets Garu extended ₹3 lakh towards Gabbarsingh actor Ramesh's treatment after learning of his brain stroke and assured all possible support. Shri @NagaBabuOffl Garu also contributed ₹2 lakh."

Director Harish Shankar, who worked closely with Ramesh on Gabbar Singh, also visited Apollo Hospital after hearing about the actor's condition. During his visit, Harish Shankar met Ramesh's family, offered words of encouragement, and reportedly provided financial assistance to help them during the difficult time. Ramesh made his Telugu film debut with Pawan Kalyan's Gabbar Singh, which released in 2012. Directed by Harish Shankar, the action-comedy was the Telugu remake of Salman Khan's 2010 Hindi blockbuster Dabangg and starred Pawan Kalyan alongside Shruti Haasan. Although Ramesh played one of the villain's gang members, he quickly became a fan favourite because of his impeccable comic timing. Following the massive success of Gabbar Singh, Ramesh reunited with Pawan Kalyan in Attarintiki Daredi and Sardaar Gabbar Singh. He continued to portray comic villain and supporting roles across several Telugu films, building a reputation as a character actor.
