India's Independence Day shopping season is officially heating up, just a day after Amazon confirmed its Great Freedom Sale, Flipkart has now announced its Freedom Sale, bringing discounts across smartphones, laptops, tablets, TVs, home appliances and other electronics. While the Amazon rival is yet to reveal product-wise prices, it has already teased numerous popular devices that is going to be a part of the event. Here's everything you need to know about the upcoming Flipkart Freedom Sale, including its start date, bank offers and the products expected to receive discounts.Sale Date, Bank Offers And Early AccessThe popular e-commerce platform has confirmed that the Flipkart Freedom Sale will begin on August 8 in India. However, Flipkart Plus
and Flipkart Black members are likely to receive 24-hour early access, allowing them to shop from August 7. The Walmart-owned company has not yet announced how long the sale will continue.During the event, customers using eligible SBI credit cards can avail of an instant 10 percent discount on purchases. The offer will also be applicable on eligible EMI transactions, helping buyers save more on high-value purchases.In addition to bank discounts, the e-commerce platform will also offer exchange deals, no-cost EMI options on select products and other promotional offers aimed at lowering the effective purchase price.iPhone 17, Samsung Galaxy S25 And More Deals TeasedAlthough the final sale prices remain under wraps, Flipkart has already revealed several products that will be featured during the event.Among smartphones, Interested customers can expect offers on the iPhone 17, Samsung Galaxy S25 and Motorola Edge 70 Fusion. Meanwhile, teaser banners suggest that select boAt earphones could be available starting at a three-digit price, although exact pricing has not been disclosed.Flipkart has also lined up several recurring promotional categories, including India's Top Deals, Deals of the Day, Price Crash, Rush Hours, Tick Tock Deals and Made in India offers.
