The Grammy-winning singer-songwriter has officially announced Daisy Chain Fields, a brand-new music festival featuring an entirely female lineup. Set to take place on August 29 at Great Park in Irvine, California, the event promises a powerful celebration of women in music while also supporting organisations dedicated to advancing the rights and wellbeing of women and girls. Rodrigo shared the exciting announcement with fans on Instagram, revealing that the festival has been years in the making.

Announcing the festival on social media, Rodrigo wrote, “Truly never felt more excited to share a piece of news with you all. I’ve had a dream of doing this festival for years and I am so ecstatic it’s finally coming true.” She further revealed that all proceeds from the event will go toward charities advocating for women and girls. “I firmly believe that joy, community, and music can be the drivers of meaningful change,” the singer added.Full Performer LineupThe festival boasts an impressive lineup spanning multiple generations and genres. Olivia Rodrigo herself will serve as the curator and headline performer, appearing across two stages. The singer described the lineup as a collection of her heroes, friends and favourite artists, while adding that music and community can inspire meaningful change. Beyond the performances, the festival will donate 100 percent of its net proceeds to organisations focused on supporting women and girls, making the event both a musical and philanthropic celebration.

One of the most anticipated acts is Chappell Roan, whose theatrical pop music and energetic stage performances have earned her a rapidly growing fan base. Her inclusion adds one of today's biggest rising stars to the festival. Doechii, known for mixing rap, R&B and experimental sounds, is another major addition. The Grammy-winning artist has become one of the most exciting voices in contemporary hip-hop.

Legendary band Bikini Kill will bring their iconic feminist punk sound to the festival. Their influence on the riot grrrl movement makes them a fitting presence at an event dedicated entirely to women artists. Alternative rock veterans Garbage are also part of the lineup. Fronted by Shirley Manson, the band remains one of the most influential rock acts led by a female vocalist.Acclaimed singer-songwriter Mitski joins the festival as well.
