It premiered on Netflix and YouTube. It is not hidden from anyone that the show landed in a huge controversy and legal troubles, but the new rendition has brought out a clean comedy style, which fans noticed quickly. The second episode was released on July 3, and it starred yet another ensemble group of guests. Samay called the panel his comedy heroes and shared a heartfelt story.

This time, the guest panel includes famous Hindi comedians Kiku Sharda and Chandan Prabhakar alongside writer Harsh Limbachiya, who is reappearing after Season 1. Samay could not hold his excitement and thus wrote a heartfelt and emotional story on his Instagram account.
Samay Raina penned how he grew up watching Kiku Sharda, Chandan Prabhakar and many shows written by Harsh Limbachiya. Their work made Samay laugh, and he wrote, “shaped my comedy in a big way”. He further penned, “I can't believe it!!!! I'm so excited for you guys to see me jamming with my comedy heroesss,” he added. The stand-up comedian called them veterans in the field.

The first episode of
India’s Got Latent Season 2 came as a big surprise for all. It featured
Alia Bhatt, Sharvari, along with Samay Raina, Balraj and comedian Aashish Solanki. The episode's premiere generated a huge buzz on the internet and created a fan frenzy. The craze can be counted as it reached 47 million views on YouTube in the first four days, with 2.2 million on Netflix in the same period.
