Ed Sheeran Takes A Break From Music

Ed Sheeran is on his North American Tour ‘LOOP’, that begin on June 14. His first concert took place in Glendale, Arizona, where he revealed a shocking update about his music career. While performing his big hits at the show, Sheeran revealed that fans might not be able to witness him for a while in the upcoming months.

The musician revealed that he is going to take some time off from work and figure out the new fatherhood lifestyle. Sheeran will step back once the North American ‘LOOP’ tour ends. “So if I don't see you for a while, I love you, thank you for coming”, he revealed after announcing that he will take a break. The statements became viral as soon as the fans uploaded the glimpses from his concert.

Ed Sheeran and a Series of Breaks

The musician is widely respected for balancing his work life with his personal one. Fans have earlier as well witnessed two such breaks that broke their hearts. His first break came in 2015, and another came in 2019 that lasted 18 months till 2021. He made a comeback with the release of Bad Habit. He also made a huge career shift recently after leaving his music label and going forward as a solo artist. The announcement came after being associated with the label for 15 years. “This is a boy who started as a teenager in the company with different priorities, to the father-of-two man who exists now, who feels like he needs a shift and change,” he spoke in the statement.

From the completion of his latest project, Azizam to delivering former hits, he remains a fan favourite for a reason. Shape of You, which was streamed 3.9 million times, became his biggest creation. Others include Perfect, Thinking Out Loud, and Photograph, among many others. Sheeran also has a special relationship with the Indian audiences, from frequent visits to the country to releasing a mix of Hindi-pop in his song Sapphire.
