Akanksha and Gaurav were often seen attending parties, reunions and celebrations in tinsel town with their friends. They maintained complete silence on the divorce before Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa. Akanksha and Gaurav are actors working in Indian television.

Who is Akanksha Chamola

Akanksha Chamola, a Mumbai-based actress, was born in 1991. She started acting at a young age. While Chamola has been a part of the television industry for years, she was primarily supporting characters in shows. Akanksha made her acting debut in the popular TV show Swaragini, where she appeared from 2015 to 2016. Her next show was titled Bhootu from 2017 to 2018. In 2022, she appeared in the show Can You See Me. Born and raised in Mumbai, she completed her postgraduate degree in Commerce before stepping into acting.

Earlier this year, she was seen in Dil Dhokha Aur Desire on ShermarooMee with Kunwarr Amarjeet Singh. Her latest project was Dabang Policewali, which is currently streaming on the Bullet Micro Drama app.

When Akanksha Chamola denied divorce rumours

In January, Akanksha shared a post on Instagram that read, “Jis rishte ki buniyaad mein sirf zarooratein ho, wahan dil hamesha qurbaan hota hai.” She denied divorce rumours and clarified that the post had nothing to do with Gaurav. “I am not someone who discusses personal matters on social media. The post was meant to promote my upcoming series. It was open to interpretation, but it was blown out of proportion,” she told Times Of India.

Gaurav experienced love at first sight when he saw Akanksha at an audition. He offered to drop her off at the next audition and that’s when he introduced himself to her. He was already an actor when she was beginning her career. After dating for a couple of years, Gaurav and Akanksha got married in Kanpur in a grand ceremony.

Akanksha Chamola on not wanting kids in future

When her pregnancy became a topic of discussion on Bigg Boss 19, Akanksha told Malti Chahar and Pranit More that she doesn’t feel the need to have a kid. “Even the future seems difficult to me. I am not getting it from within; I don't feel the need to have a kid. I have many reasons, and I feel that when you find so many reasons, then you are not ready,” she said on the show. Gaurav hasn’t reacted to Akanksha’s divorce confirmation on Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa.
