Massey is all set to bring his magic back on the OTT screens with Netflix’s upcoming romantic series Musafir Cafe. Following the success of Haseen Dilruba, the actor has once again left fans in awe after they witnessed the date announcement for the romantic drama series. Netflix, on its official Instagram handle today, July 1, revealed the date for their upcoming project with Vikrant Massey headlining the key role. The announcement video was more than just a date reveal, as it also gave a sneak peek into its storyline and character arcs.

Netflix has officially revealed the release date of the romantic drama series
Musafir Cafe, starring
Vikrant Massey, Vedika Pinto and Mahima Makwana as leads. The series is set to premiere on July 24, 2026. The date reveal post followed the lives of three musafirs in the scenic beauty of Mussoorie and Bhopal.
The caption for the post read, “
Pyaar, pahaad aur inn musafiron ki kahaani”. It follows the story of Chander (Vikrant Massey) and Sudha (Vedika Pinto) and later traces his connection with Preeti (Mahima Makwana).

Earlier, at an event for
Musafir Cafe, Vikrant spoke extensively about the series. The
12th Fail actor revealed that after reading the script for the first time, he felt he must act in it. Further, displaying his gratitude towards Vijay Subramaniam and the creators of the show, Vikrant said, “It was great to be working with them.” According to him, Vijay came as a mentor and pushed him to do this, which makes him thankful. The actor was happy to go out there and work on this, as he also praised his co-actors for their amazing talents.
About Musafir Cafe
Directed by Ruchir Arun, the series is based on Divya Prakash Dubey’s novel. Sharanya Rajgopal stepped in as the writer and creator for the romantic series. Apart from the leads, the series also involves an ensemble cast of Adil Hussain, Rajeev Siddhartha, Anubha Fatehpuria, Loveleen Mishra and Sadia Siddiqui.
The Anuj Gosalia and Vijay Subramaniam production follows the story of three lives that get intertwined in unexpected ways, with different and contrasting personalities, they discover how people transform and arrive when it is least expected. The storyline appears to be focusing on self-love and imperfect endings. The heartfelt story has impressed many, but the real verdict comes only after it premieres on July 24.
