Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and actor Pawan Kalyan visited Hanumakonda on Wednesday, June 17, to meet 17-year-old Niranjan, who is suffering from a rare genetic disorder and is confined to bed due to severe health complications. The visit came after Jana Sena leaders in Telangana informed him about the teenager’s wish to meet him. During the interaction, Pawan Kalyan spent time with Niranjan and his family, enquired about his treatment, and also gave financial assistance of Rs 1 lakh for medical expenses. Pawan Kalyan's heartfelt gesture has moved fans.
Pawan Kalyan Meets Young Fan with Rare Genetic Disorder, Extends Financial Support
Pawan Kalyan spent time with Niranjan and his family after learning about his condition through his party cadres. He enquired about the teenager’s health and treatment, and spoke with his parents about ongoing medical care. He also shared warm messages with the family to stay strong during the difficult period. During the visit, Pawan Kalyan extended financial assistance to help with medical expenses. He also assured the family of continued support and wished well for Niranjan’s recovery. As a gesture of goodwill, he presented sacred prasadam of Sri Venkateswara Swamy and prayed for the teenager’s health. He took to social media to share pictures of his meet, and shared a caption, hoping that he would meet young Niranjan again soon.
Niranjan shared that he had been a fan since childhood and showed old videos of himself performing dance steps inspired by Pawan Kalyan. The Deputy Chief Minister later visited the Bhadrakali Temple in Warangal to offer prayers for Niranjan’s recovery.
About Pawan Kalyan's Upcoming Films
On the work front, Pawan Kalyan has announced a sequel to his film OG under Pawan Kalyan Creative Works. The production house confirmed that discussions on OG 2 will be held once director Sujeeth returns from abroad, sharing that the sequel is very much in development. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), the team stated, “As promised, he will. The timing, he will let us know. Once @Sujeethsign returns from abroad, we will discuss.” The film went on to earn over Rs 200 crore at the box office.
Meanwhile, Pawan Kalyan’s other project was officially announced on New Year’s Eve, with Surender Reddy set to direct the film. Producer Ram Talluri shared the update on X, expressing his excitement and describing it as a dream project under the banner Jaithra Rama Movies. He also highlighted his collaboration with director Surender Reddy and writer Vakkantham Vamsi.
