He mentioned that Ram has already apologised for his statements and will learn with time.

After the clip of Ram Kapoor and Shreya Kalra’s clash on Lock Upp - Sach Ya Sazaa premiere went viral on social media, netizens started slamming the actor. When we contacted Karan Veer Mehra and asked him to share his views on the whole drama, the Pavitra Rishta star said that whatever Shreya Kalra said was absolutely right, but he also defended Ram’s side. Karan Veer Mehra said, "Ram, be a child at heart all your life and keep learning. He apologised about his earlier remarks. I am sure with age and experience, everyone learns.” The Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 winner is neither supporting nor opposing Ram Kapoor’s views.

At Lock Upp 2's grand premiere, Farah Khan told Ram Kapoor that his fans were deeply disturbed by some of his statements from the past. Riteish Deshmukh pointed out that such things leave an impact on society and fans.

Ram Kapoor expressed regret over his comments and justified his statements by calling them part of his ‘sense of humour’. After Ram’s justification, Shreya Kalra found his clarification insincere and lashed out at him by stating, “You are 52; you are my father’s age. How are you still learning and moving on at this age? Using gang rape as a joke – it is not a joke. Do you understand what girls go through when things like this happen to them? Instead of taking accountability, you are saying that you will learn and move on.” She also expressed a shock after knowing that he is still learning at 52. On the other hand, Farah called out Shreya Kalra for age-shaming Ram Kapoor.
