Amazon has now officially announced the dates for its 10th annual Prime Day sale in India, giving customers a pretty good chance to grab deals across smartphones, electronics, fashion, home appliances and more. The e-commerce giant is once again stretching the event across three days, while also introducing fresh discounts on Prime memberships, bank offers and AI-powered shopping tools. As in previous years, the sale will be exclusive to Prime members.To make the event more attractive, Amazon has lined
up several payment offers. SBI and Axis Bank credit card holders, including those using EMI transactions, will be eligible for an instant 10 percent discount during the sale. Meanwhile, Amazon Pay ICICI Bank credit card users can continue to avail unlimited 5 percent cashback on eligible Prime purchases.The Flipkart-rival is also promoting Amazon Pay Later, which allows customers to split purchases worth Rs 1,500 or more into three interest-free instalments. Travel bookings are also part of the offers this year, with MakeMyTrip customers getting an instant 10 percent discount, along with hotel discounts of up to 75 percent and bus ticket savings of up to 17 percent.According to the popular e-commerce giant, Prime Day 2026 will feature more than 500 new product launches from over 100 Indian and global brands. Popular names expected to participate include Samsung, OnePlus, HP, Lenovo, Asus, iQOO and Redmi. Fashion brands such as Adidas, Allen Solly, Puma and Van Heusen are also expected to join the sale alongside home appliance makers including LG, Bosch, Crompton and Shark Ninja.Amazon says it will also use AI-powered tools more aggressively this year to help shoppers discover products, compare options and receive personalised recommendations.For those who are not yet Prime members, the company has introduced discounted subscription prices during the anniversary period. The standard Prime membership is available for Rs 999 instead of Rs 1,499, while Prime Lite has dropped to Rs 599 from Rs 799. The Prime Shopping Edition is also available at a reduced price of Rs 299, down from Rs 399.
