Under a viral video, claiming to be the leaked trailer of
Ramayana: Part One - The Introduction, a user wrote, "What is wrong with management, come on make some effort to stop these leaks man." Another commented, "We stayed awake all night waiting for the movie trailer, but at the very last moment, they broke their promise and cancelled the trailer. You did a great job, this is what we wanted."Meanwhile, a fanpage urged netizens to tag the makers and show their support. "Do not share or amplify leaked footage," they urged.
Why Was Ramayana Trailer Postponed?
Rumours are rife that the
Ramayana trailer is being re-edited into a sharper Hollywood-inspired style under the supervision of Sony Pictures Entertainment. However, there's no official confirmation on the same. In his statement, producer Namit Malhotra said, "My dream of taking Ramayana to the world is now a reality with our partnership with Sony Pictures Entertainment. In light of the above, we will be launching our trailer globally at a later date."Despite the leak, fans are eagerly waiting for the official trailer to be released. The makers are yet to announce its release date.Also starring Sunny Deol, Ravi Dubey, Lara Dutta, Rakul Preet Singh and Anupam Kher, the film is slated to release worldwide on Diwali 2026.
