The singer was seemingly upset with what had unfolded yesterday and revealed that his upcoming song will be postponed. Earlier, he posted a story and a post revealing the date for his upcoming Moonlight musical. As soon as the protest gained momentum and the words spread across the internet, Honey Singh also joined other celebrities in lending their support. Singer and musician Yo Yo Honey Singh today, on July 21, broke his silence and expressed his deep respect for the youth of India. His first story on Instagram announced the release of his upcoming song Moonlight, which he scheduled for 11 AM this morning. Soon, he dropped another story and a post postponing the date to July 24. Honey Singh then revealed its real reason.

He called the Youth of India “immortal”. The Blue Eyes singer posted another story, where he postponed the release, keeping in mind the sentiments of the youth and the country. He prayed to Lord Mahadev to give the youth strength. “Jai Hind,” he concluded.

His reaction was surprising to many, as earlier he took a jab at people questioning his silence. Naseeruddin Shah and Shabana Azmi were seen at the CJP protest yesterday. The veteran actors were constantly seen in many social media videos where they participated along with the students. Vijay Varma also took a dig at people unfollowing him simply cause he raised a voice in the CJP protests’ favour.
