As Gaurav Khanna greeted contestants inside the jail-themed set, Ram Kapoor turned to his cellmate Dheeraj Dhoopar and quietly asked what Gaurav did for a living. Dheeraj simply replied that he was an actor, but this did not really help Ram place him.

Ram then further asked if Gaurav was even well known, to which Dheeraj gave a short, uncertain "Hmm" in response. Ram openly admitted he had never seen him before, adding that he generally does not watch much television content these days.Despite this earlier confusion behind the scenes, when Gaurav actually met Ram face-to-face, their interaction felt surprisingly familiar. During his visit, Gaurav Khanna also shared a moment with wife Akanksha Chamola. She had earlier shocked viewers by revealing that she and Gaurav had actually been living separately for nearly a year now, owing to differing views on parenthood.Gaurav told her that watching her journey on Lock Upp has left him shaken. Talking about the divorce rumours, he clarified, "We only talked about it. Nothing has been signed. Nothing is official yet."Akanksha reminded him that their conversation got cut short earlier because he had left to join Khatron Ke Khiladi. Gaurav admitted that her sudden revelation on the show had genuinely caught him by surprise.Later, host Farah Khan called both of them into the jailer's cabin for a private chat about their relationship.
