Khan has voiced his support for the students protesting against the NEET paper leak, calling their peaceful movement 'the right way' to demand change. Reacting to the violence that broke out during the Chalo Sansad march at Jantar Mantar on July 20, the actor said he was heartbroken to see a peaceful protest take such a turn. Sharing an old photograph from his student days on Instagram, Salman praised the courage, discipline and determination shown by the students while urging that the issue should stay focused on education rather than politics.

Taking to Instagram, Salman Khan shared a throwback picture from his school days and expressed solidarity with students demanding accountability over the alleged NEET paper leak. The actor wrote, "It was such a peaceful movement, feel so sad that it had to take a violent turn. My heart goes out to the students and their families who were hurt. Paper leak is a very serious issue, and I am glad to know n see that the kids of our country have come together for a better educational system, and their parents supported them."Referring to the police action during the Chalo Sansad march at Delhi's Jantar Mantar on July 20, Salman said he was deeply saddened that a peaceful demonstration resulted in violence and injuries. Salman went on to applaud the students for choosing peaceful protest to voice their concerns. He wrote, "I truly appreciate the stand they have taken, showing dedication, sincerity, and keenness to study hard n make their future and a greater, educated India."

The actor further added, "This andolan, this protest, is the right way to go abt it, n the students have done this peacefully. So courageous and brave." The actor added that this 'driven and motivated' generation will make India proud." The actor praised the students for standing together in support of a stronger education system and said their commitment to learning reflects positively on the country's future.

Salman Khan urges to keep politics away

Salman also stressed that the movement should remain focused on students and educational reforms instead of becoming a political issue. He wrote, "This issue is between the students and the educational system, it should not be hijacked politically, the credit should only go to the students of our country."Talking about the role of the Goverment, the actor added with hope, "I am sure the government will also give them all the support n make it a stronger educational system. It's a win-win situation. Hoping n praying for a positive decision. God bless all of you who wanna be educated." The actor expressed confidence that the government would work alongside students to strengthen the country's education system and hoped for a constructive resolution.Concluding his message, Salman talked about the importance of education and envisioned India becoming a global destination for learning. He wrote, "Education should be the next trend and fashion, and should get trendier n more fashionable." He stated that he want students to come and study in Idia and that the country turns itself into an education hub.

Salman Khan joins a growing list of public figures who have spoken in support of the students. Earlier, celebrities including Mika Singh, Shabana Azmi, Sonakshi Sinha, Naseeruddin Shah, Hrithik Roshan, Kunickaa Sadanand and Ishaan Khatter also voiced their support for the students and education reform advocate Sonam Wangchuk.
