Kapoor and Rohan Thakkar tied the knot at Mumbai’s Taj Lands End on July 6. Family and friends were in attendance to witness the adorable couple entering a new phase. After a close-knit wedding ceremony, the Kapoors and Thakkars hosted a grand cocktail party. Bollywood celebrities joined to bless the newlyweds. At the cocktail party held in Mumbai on July 7, Anshula and Rohan made their first appearance as a married couple. Their cute chemistry and glowing faces added an extra sparkle to the dazzling high-profile event.

For the cocktail party, Anshula picked a red Banarasi brocade sari designed exclusively for the ceremony by Amit Aggarwal. As she mentioned in her Instagram post, the outfit was reimagined into a ‘sculptural corseted silhouette’. Flaunting her sindoor and bridal glow, Anshula stole the spotlight. Anshula and Rohan gave a glimpse of their playful and cute chemistry. In a couple of moments, they expressed their emotions a thousand times with their sweet expressions. From holding hands to giggling joyfully, the newlyweds made a statement at their cocktail party.

Anshula kept her wedding look classy and elegant. Carrying her mother with her throughout the rituals, she wrote on Instagram, “I wanted to carry with me when I became a bride - my mom’s 42-year-old gold tissue & zardozi dupatta. Everything else was built around it.” Tarun Tahiliani worked on her bridal trousseau. Creating a stunning harmony between her Punjabi roots and Rohan’s Gujarati traditions, Kapoor paired a traditional bandhini gharchola dupatta along with Phulkari borders that celebrated her Punjabi heritage. Arjun Kapoor, Anshula’s elder brother, walked her down the aisle along with their father, Boney Kapoor, who looked visibly emotional. Sonam Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor and Shanaya Kapoor stood along the aisle to shower flowers and love on the couple.
