Raina has been receiving a lot of love for his performance in his latest film, Main Vaapas Aaunga. In the film, the actor played the role of Keenu opposite Sharvari. The Imtiaz Ali-directed love story received a lukewarm response at the box office; however, the critics heaped praise on the film for its emotional story, performances and music. Amidst all, Vedang has recently shared a bunch of behind-the-scene moments from the sets of Main Vaapas Aaunga on Instagram. The newcomer also penned a long note while summarising his emotions after receiving love for the film.

Vedang Raina shared pictures from the sets of Main Vaapas Aaunga. In one of the pictures, he is seen seeking blessings at the holy Golden Temple in Amritsar. For the unversed, the film has been shot in Amritsar and other parts of Punjab. Vedang wore a turban for the first time in the film. In his long caption, the actor recalled how he came home after an audition and told his parents that acting makes him feel the most alive. They encouraged his choice and supported him in his journey. Vedang mentioned that Main Vaapas Aaunga is the film that has changed everything for him.
The Archies star thanked Imtiaz Ali for taking him on a journey that let him be his Keenu. He always dreamed of working with his idols like Naseeruddin Shah, Diljit Dosanjh, AR Rahman, Irshad Kamil and his co-star Sharvari. He stated, “This film is special and relevant and so pure, and I’m grateful to have been a part of it.”
While concluding his note, Vedang Raina thanked the audience for showering love on Main Vaapas Aaunga. He loves what he does, which is acting. He feels alive. “And miles to go before I sleep,” Vedang concluded.
