Chopda left everyone shocked with his heartbreak confession on Lock Upp 2. The actor, who is otherwise guarded about his personal life, revealed that his girlfriend cheated on him with his best friend. And that's how he lost both of them. In the fifth episode of the Netflix reality show, Harshad and a few other contestants discussed identity, sexuality, and the fear of judgment. Sufi Motiwala opened up about the struggles he has faced because of his sexuality. On the other hand, Harshad and Dheeraj Dhoopar shared their thoughts about the LGBTQ+ community.

Harshad Chopda recalls being scared of gay person

While interacting with Kundali Bhagya actor Dheeraj, Harshad recalled an old incident where he ran away after meeting a gay person. Before narrating the story, the Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actor stated that he once did a ramp walk, but didn't get paid for it. And it's because the actor had to go home and collect the money.

Talking about fleeing after meeting a gay person, the actor shared, "Pehle na main bhaag jaata tha seedha. Samajh nahi aata tha. Uss insaan ko main kuch din pehle mila tha. Darr bahut lagta tha, uss time pe bhaag gaya tha bahana bana ke ki shoot hai. Usko pata tha ki shoot cancel hai phir bhi main bhaag gaya tha."However, when Harshad recently met the person, he apologised saying that he didn't know how to handle the situation. The television actor admitted that he's not a confrontational person, and called himself 'phattu insaan'. "Maybe it takes me longer but mujhe darr lagta tha," he confessed. Dheeraj, on the other hand, said he is comfortable around gays. The actor personally believes that they are better human beings and sensitive towards everything. "They are wonderful," he added.

Meanwhile, Lock Upp 2 is being hosted by Riteish Deshmukh and Farah Khan. The show premiered on Netflix on June 27 with a set of 15 contestants. The list includes Harshad, Dheeraj, Sufi, Ram Kapoor, Shivangi Joshi, Shreya Kalra, Pamala Serena, Yogesh Rawat, Akanksha Choudhary, Akanksha Chamola, and others.
