The actress also recalled, “I went into a little bit of a slight, slight depression,” adding, “It was very hard for me. I would not have expected that coming off of the show. I’m a very happy-go-lucky person.”

The emotional impact ofStranger Things ending was so intense that Brown spent part of January reaching out to her co-stars in an effort to ensure there were no lingering misunderstandings or unresolved tensions between them. "They probably thought I was crazy," she recalled. "I was like, 'We're still friends, right? Like, you're not gonna stop talking to me anymore?'"Brown revealed that she personally called cast members to apologise if she had ever upset them and to reaffirm the bond they had built over the years. "It's been 10 years, and I really want to be friends. You're my sibling," she told them. The actress further explained that the cast had become more than colleagues.
