X has always tried to be creator-friendly, and now Elon Musk's own microblogging platform is bringing new features to support the case. All creators on iOS are getting the redesigned Video Editor and Recorder so that users don't have to go to a third party app. The latest video editor uses overlay captions directly onto their videos in multiple languages, then adjust how those captions look before posting. X has also added a green screen tool that changes the video background using photos or posts pulled from the camera roll of a creator. Both the elements added to X's video editor close a major gap, as creators who wanted multilingual captions or a clean background swap previously had to rely on third-party video editing apps before coming
to X. With the addition of these tools directly into X, users can now have a seamless editing experience without worrying about having another app to do that. X's Head of Product, Nikita Bier, also said that the company is going to bring more features on the Video Editor and Recorder tool in the future that will help eliminate the dependency of creators on third part editing apps. X has been leaving no stone unturned to increase video content adoption on their platforms, and this just marks another major step in the same direction. Elon Musk has always stated that he wants X to be an 'everything app.' Furthermore, high chances are that the advanced editing tools will become a part of the Premium X subscription, which will ultimately boost the revenue of the brand as well. From this point on, it will be more than interesting to see how this strategy of X being an everything app pans out in the future and what all new features we are going to see in the next few months.
