Meta Enters AI Gaming With Pocket, A Vibe-Coding App For Interactive Games

Meta is taking a deep dive into gaming with the debut of a new app dubbed Pocket that lets users generate small, interactive apps and games using AI prompts. The software could be dubbed the outcome of Meta's acquisition of the vibe-coded gaming platform Gizmo earlier this year; it is described as 'a creative platform for making and sharing gizmos.' Furthermore, it also offers a scrollable feed where you can play with gizmos others have made on the platform as well.As per the screenshots in the Google Play Store for the app, there are a lot of similarities to it as compared to Gizmo's original app, which is also still available on the Play Store. the app's launch this morning and published a Play Store screenshot of the app on X. As per the data from app intelligence provider Appfigures, cited by TechCrunch, Pocket was first launched on June 29, 2026, on the App Store and Google Play Store.Pocket could be dubbed one of the newest apps in Meta's arsenal to push AI creation tools for a plethora of users. We at Times Now Digital tried to find the app both on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, but we got there and were welcomed with a message, 'This item is not available in your country.' The screenshots shared on the platform show some example of gizmos as well, like one that says, 'make a drawing gizmo where the flower is the paintbrush.' The app will also allow users to curate a playlist of the best gizmos. Until now, there is no official confirmation regarding the launch of the app in India. However, speculations are that we will get to see the same soon here as well.
