Anand Raaj Anand on Ucha Lamba Kad Forever, Akshay Kumar
In conversation with us, Anand Raaj Anand spoke about
Welcome to the Jungle song
Ucha Lamba Kad Forever. "This is just a remix with some additional beats. Like in
Ucha Lamba Kad Akshay sir got Vikram (Montrose) to work on it, but they never let the soul of the song get spoiled. I really appreciate Akshay sir and Firoz (Nadiadwallah) bhai for that," he said.
The music composer called Akshay and Firoz 'good listeners', who understood that if the original soul was disturbed, people wouldn't connect with it the same way. Anand added, "I think it has been done beautifully and the response has been fantastic. The shoot was extraordinary too. Akshay sir's energy is unbelievable, it feels even more energetic than it was 20 years ago."
Anand Raaj Anand praises Akshay Kumar
Moving on, the 63-year-old revealed what makes Akshay a natural performer when it comes to musical numbers. To this, he said that when he composes for Khiladi Kumar, he understand his body language. "He can dance like Govinda, he can dance like Hrithik, he can dance like Shahid; but Govinda dances only like Govinda, Hrithik only like Hrithik, and Shahid only like Shahid. Akshay Kumar can adapt to any style. That's what I love about him. I know exactly what kind of energy I need to create for his songs," shared Anand.
