Nadu CM Vijay's Jana Nayagan finally saw the light of day. After a seven-month delay, the political action thriller released in theatres on July 23. The photos and videos of Thalapathy Vijay's fans celebrating the movie's release have gone viral on social media. In fact, Trisha Krishnan and her mother also watched the H Vinoth directorial. After watching it in theatres, Trisha's mom, Uma Krishnan, spoke to the press about Jana Nayagan. She expressed that she feels bad about the fact that this is TN CM Vijay's last movie.

While interacting with ANI, Trisha's mother said, "We had a good time. We really enjoyed the movie. I feel bad that this is his last film. We are going to miss him." For the unversed, the actress has worked with Thalapathy Vijay in movies like Ghilli, Leo, Thirupaachi, and more. Trisha also did a special appearance in the actor-politician's 2024 film, The Greatest of All Time.

After Jana Nayagan was released in theatres, producer Venkat Narayana expressed that he wants TN CM Vijay to continue acting in movies. However, he understands that the actor-politician has 'bigger responsibilities' now. "We don't know whether time permits or not, but he should. We would love to see him on the screen," he told NDTV.The Jana Nayagan producer further reflected on the release of Thalapathy Vijay-starrer. "From today onwards, Jana Nayagan belongs to the people. Let's celebrate Vijay Sir and his legacy for one last time on the big screen." Venkat Narayana admitted that July 23 has been important for him, and he is excited to watch the project on the silver screen.
