It
was a wedding to remember! Singer Dua Lipa and actor Callum Turner said, "I do," again at an 18th-century mansion in Sicily, Italy. Before their Italian wedding, the couple exchanged vows in London at Old Marylebone Town Hall on May 31. While the first wedding was simple and understated, their second wedding was starry and glamorous, filled with the who's who of Hollywood and the music industry. Dua has now given fans a first official look at the couple's wedding looks, including her gorgeous white gown and other unseen moments from their joy-filled wedding celebration.
Dua Lipa shares pics from Italian wedding
On Instagram, Dua simply captioned the pics as "Mr and Mrs." Shot by photographer David Sims, the first photo features the couple in a close embrace under the bride's veil. The second photo is a black-and-white photo of Dua and Callum posing in front of the
Villa Valguarnera, which is also known as "little Versailles." The rest of the photos in black and white and colour show the couple in a playful mood celebrating their nuptials.
For those wondering about Dua's wedding dress, Vogue confirms that the feather and crystal-embellished white dress was a Chanel haute couture gown. The singer also added a feather-detailed headpiece and embroidered, long veil. It was entirely hand-embroidered and required around 1,155 hours of needlework. Dua's two-meter train contained around 25,000 feathers. The groom wore a classic black suit that was custom made for him from Louis Vuitton. He looks ready to serve with those 007 rumours.
Who attended the Dua Lipa and Callum Turner wedding?
Paparazzi photos showed several A-list celebrities having a good time at the wedding, including fashion icon Donatella Versace, actor Joe Alwyn, singers Olivia Dean and Charli XCX, music producer Mark Ronson and his wife, actress Grace Gummer and Tame Impala singer Kevin Parker. A report in
Vanity Fair had stated that singer Elton John, who has worked with Dua on
Cold Heart (Pnau remix), serenaded the couple with his classic Your Song at the wedding.
Ph The three-day Sicily wedding celebrations reportedly cost around 1.5 million pounds. The
couple's wedding had a personalised touch with tablecloths that stated "Dua & Callum," and guest wedding favours included a handkerchief with the saying, "Stay mad with me forever." According to British Vogue, the guests dined on classic Italish dishes with anelletti alla Norma (baked pasta), panelle (Sicilian chickpea fritters), and crocché (croquettes), as well as cassata and cannoli for dessert.
