The mixed feedback hasn't affected the romantic comedy's steady run at the ticket window. After registering an opening of Rs 13.5 crore, the movie maintained a good pace at the box office, earning Rs 47.5 crore within three days. According to early estimates by Sacnilk, Cocktail 2 collected Rs 4 crore on day three, bringing the gross collection to Rs 19.25 crore. On the other hand, the India gross earnings are Rs 57 crore. Considering both, the total earnings stand at Rs 76.25 crore.

For the unversed, the rom-com made Rs 13.5 crore from 10,835 shows on day of its release. It was followed by the Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna-starrer minting Rs 16.25 crore on day two from 10,245 shows. On day three, the spiritual sequel to 2012 film Cocktail collected Rs 17.75 crore from 10,462 shows.

Speaking to ANI, Kriti Sanon revealed the underlying message of her recently released rom-com, Cocktail 2. Sharing that it is relevant message, the actress mentioned, "Nowadays, the type of relationships, situationship and questions related to commitment are going on; there is a very relevant and rooted message at the end of the movie."Written by Tarun Jain and Luv Ranjan, the romantic comedy was theatrically released on June 19. It clashed with the Hollywood animated film Toy Story 5 and Samantha Ruth Prabhu's Maa Inti Bangaram at the ticket window.

According to media reports, Shahid Kapoor charged Rs 35 crore to play the role of Kunal in this film. Kriti Sanon, who essays the character of Alisha/ Ally, apparently earned Rs 15 crore.
