From August 5 to August 20, 2026, several key express trains will not terminate at Chennai Egmore. Trains such as the Thanjavur-Chennai Egmore Uzhavan Express (16866), Kollam-Chennai Egmore Ananthapuri Superfast Express (20636), and Salem-Chennai Egmore Express (22154) will temporarily terminate at Tambaram. Meanwhile, the Tiruchchirappalli-Chennai Egmore Rockfort Express (12654) will terminate at Mambalam.
