Air India has announced a new seasonal non-stop service connecting Mumbai with Toronto, a significant development for travellers. This three-times-weekly flight will operate from October 25, 2026, to March 26, 2027, making Air India the only carrier to offer
a direct link between the two major cities during this period. The service will be operated by an upgraded Boeing 777-300ER, featuring improved cabin interiors and adding nearly 2,000 seats each week between India and Canada. This route eliminates the long layovers that were previously a standard part of the journey, making travel far more efficient for business, leisure, and those visiting family. This expansion is part of a broader enhancement of Air India's services to Canada, which also includes deploying newer aircraft on the Delhi-Toronto route.
