Fresher hiring also saw a resilient 6% year-on-year growth, indicating that companies are investing in building their entry-level talent pipeline for the future. However, the nature of these entry-level jobs is changing, with a greater emphasis on AI, data engineering, and cloud skills from day one. While the market for freshers is improving, some delays in onboarding continue as hiring becomes more project-dependent.
