How to Build the Perfect Layered Bed
Creating your ideal layered bed is simple. Start with a fitted sheet and a flat top sheet made from a breathable material like linen or percale cotton. Instead of a thick duvet, use a lightweight quilt or coverlet as your main cover. These provide just enough weight to feel comforting without trapping excessive heat. For added flexibility, fold a thin, textured blanket—such as a cotton waffle or cellular blanket—and place it at the foot of the bed.
