You can fly into Guwahati or Dibrugarh, or take a train to Naharlagun in Arunachal Pradesh, which is the closest railway station to Ziro. From Guwahati, you can take an overnight train to Naharlagun, followed by a 3-4 hour taxi ride up to Ziro. The drive from any of these entry points is incredibly scenic, taking you through lush plains and winding mountain roads. All domestic tourists visiting Arunachal Pradesh must obtain an Inner Line Permit (ILP), which can be applied for online in advance. Be sure to arrange this permit before you travel to ensure a smooth entry.
