A Practical Guide to Prompting
The goal is to use AI as a powerful partner. Start by feeding the AI your master resume and the full text of the job description. This gives it the necessary context. Then, use a series of specific prompts to build and refine your application. For a summary, you could prompt: “Act as a career coach. The Pitfalls You Must Avoid
Using AI for your resume comes with risks. The biggest is a loss of authenticity; AI models trained on millions of public resumes can produce generic text that makes you sound like every other candidate. Another major risk is accuracy.
