It is important to note this is not a visa-free travel scheme; you will still be issued a formal visa, but the associated fee will be covered by DCT Abu Dhabi. The program is limited to the first 20,000 visas issued under this scheme.
Who is Eligible for the Offer?
The offer is specifically tailored for Indian passport holders who are travelling from India. To qualify for the visa fee waiver, you cannot apply independently. Instead, you must book a complete holiday package through a participating travel partner or an approved online travel agency. Key travel platforms like MakeMyTrip and Akbar Travels have been announced as partners in this initiative. The waiver is directly linked to the holiday package, meaning flight-only or hotel-only bookings will not qualify for the complimentary visa. This ensures that the benefit is tied to a committed Abu Dhabi holiday.
Key Conditions You Must Meet
To take advantage of this offer, your travel plans must meet a few specific conditions. Firstly, your holiday package must include a minimum stay of three consecutive nights in an Abu Dhabi hotel. Secondly, the booking must also include a return flight from India. The travel itself must take place between August 1 and October 31, 2026. This means the offer is based on your travel dates, not when you book. So, if you are planning a trip, ensure your stay in Abu Dhabi falls within this three-month window to be eligible for the waiver.

The standard fee for a UAE entry visa, which is being waived under this program, is approximately Dh285, which translates to roughly ₹6,500 per person. For a family of four, this waiver could result in a total saving of over ₹25,000, a substantial reduction in the overall holiday budget.
