The key conditions for eligibility are booking a package that includes both a return flight from India and a hotel stay of at least three consecutive nights in Abu Dhabi. Furthermore, the entire package must be booked through a participating travel partner or a recognised online travel agency. Independent applications for the free visa are not permitted under this scheme; it is exclusively tied to these pre-packaged holidays.
How to Apply and What to Know
The process is straightforward but requires booking through the right channels. Travellers cannot apply for the visa subsidy on their own. Instead, you must book a qualifying package with an approved travel agent, such as Akbar Travels, or another participating online platform. The travel partner will then handle the visa application process as part of the package booking. It's crucial to act fast, as the pilot programme is limited and will support up to 20,000 visas on a first-come, first-served basis. Since availability is capped, it is advisable to confirm with your travel agent that your booking will be covered by the free visa offer before you finalise your plans.
Distinguishing from Other Visa Rules
This promotional offer is separate from other UAE visa rules for Indians.
