from powder-coated metal, engineered wood, or bamboo. These materials are far more resistant to humidity and heat. Metal frames for sofas, tables, and shelves offer a sleek, modern look and are incredibly durable. Similarly, high-density fibreboard (HDF) or quality plywood furniture often comes with laminate or veneer finishes that resist moisture and are easy to clean. Bamboo, being a type of grass, is naturally more resistant to climatic changes than many traditional woods.
Opt for Breathable and Quick-Dry Textiles
Fabrics are often the first casualty of a humid climate. Heavy materials like velvet and thick wool can absorb moisture, leading to a musty smell and a damp feeling.
