However, the most important factors are sleep and nutrition. During deep sleep, your body releases growth hormone, which is vital for tissue repair and muscle growth. Aiming for seven to nine hours of quality sleep can significantly boost your recovery. Similarly, focusing on a balanced diet with adequate protein helps provide the building blocks for muscle repair.
