Minimize or avoid large, heavy meals and sugary snacks in the three hours before you go to sleep. This gives your digestive system adequate time to rest and supports your body's natural overnight repair processes. While an earlier eating window seems most beneficial, consistency is more important than perfection. Research suggests that even a later, but regular, eating window is better than erratic meal patterns.
