expected to attract nearly 1,000 delegates, including tour operators, hoteliers, policymakers, and government officials from across the country. The convention, themed 'India: The World's Next Tourism Opportunity,' will take place at the Novotel Visakhapatnam Varun Beach and will feature business sessions, a travel mart, and discussions on the future of tourism. The presence of top officials from the Union Ministry of Tourism and the Andhra Pradesh state government underscores the event's importance.
A Strategic Play for Andhra Pradesh
Hosting the IATO convention is a deliberate strategy by the Andhra Pradesh government to showcase its potential as a premier tourist destination.
